Jorge Contreras & Leslie Ferreira

Are the dynamic duo who have popularized Bachata in the Los Angeles Area.

Together they have accomplished the following:

​

  • Started the First Bachata Dance Company in LA, Bachata Caliente

  • Produced the first Los Angeles Bachata Festival in 2010 (Every Year Valentines Weekend) as well as the Annual 

  • LA Summer Bachata Festival.

  • Started the first Bachata Night Club in Los Angeles, Stevens Steak House

  • Jorge & Leslie together have hosted many Bachata concerts in the Los Angeles Area such as:

  • Prince Royce, Toby Love, Luis Miguel Del Amargue, Luis Vargas, Vena, Bachata Heightz, Migz and many more!

FAQ

  • Is this an all-ages event?
    All ages are welcome.
  • Can I transfer my pass?
    You may transfer your pass to our next event. you can not transfer to another person. Yes you NEED to purchase a transfer ticket for the next event. See details HERE
  • Do I need to know how to dance?
    We have workshops for all levels of dance, including beginner bootcamps in Bachata, Salsa, Zouk, Kizomba and more. We also offer intermediate and advanced workshops.
  • Can I record classes?
    Most Instructors allow you to video at the end of the class, we ask that you take photos with the instructors outside the ballrooms, so the next class can start on time.
  • Tickets and Passes
    Can I buy my ticket at the door? Tickets can be bought at the door. We accept cash and credit cards. No personal checks. We highly recommend you purchase in advance for expedited service. If you are purchasing at the door cash will help expedite the process.
  • What do I bring to check-in the day of the event?
    You will need a government issued photo ID. and a copy of your emailed receipt (We can Scan your Email on your Phone)
  • Do I need a partner?
    You do not need a partner. Instructors rotate the Students in all of the workshops. Most people come without a Partner :)
  • Where do I find the workshop schedule?
    The workshop schedule will be available in Advanced on our Website. To get a sample of the type of workshops offered, see last year’s schedule HERE.
  • What does my pass include?
    You’ll have access to all of this: Four unforgettable nights and three exhilarating days Dance workshops with internationally renowned instructors World-class dance performances Social dancing in separate Bachata, Salsa, and Kizomba/Zouk ballrooms until 5 a.m. Epic pool parties If you upgrade to VIP, you’ll also gain access to the following: Reserved Front Rows seating for the evening performances Fri-Sun. Free t-shirt
  • I bought a full pass during the early-bird sale but I am going to perform with my team. Do I have to buy a performer pass now?
    Performers are allowed to perform with a performer pass, a full pass or a VIP pass so you would not need to buy anything additional. However, you must be sure to get a performer wristband at registration in order to be granted access backstage. A dancer who purchased a performer pass but is no longer able to perform for whatever reason, will be required to pay to upgrade to a full pass or a VIP pass.
