Rules

10 Competitors per category

One song, no mixes, No introductions. No fusions of music.

Max time: solo 1:30 minutes, Couple 2 minutes

These are open categories, there are no limits on tricks or lifts within the routine.

Ages 18+ to compete.

IMPORTANT** All competitors must purchase a Full, VIP or performer pass in order to enter/ register for the competition. Plus a separate competitor pass for each category that they wish to compete in.
Judging Rubric
All judges are judging out of 100 points.

Timing & Rhythm 30 points (Bachata is clear and timing in consistent through the entirety of the routine) Mark 4 & 8, start on 1

Execution & Technique 30 points (Body movement, core movement, "sabor of the dance" execution of element with proper technique: ex: leap/jumps should have pointed toes, extension of arms, etc.)

Creativity 30 points : The use and presentation of original ideas within the routine.

Including musicality. Incorporating musicality within your movement. Originality: brings something new and innovative to the stage. Presentation: costume, hair, make up. Stage Presence: Energy, confidence, connection with crowd
