Can I transfer my pass?
You may transfer your pass to our next event. you can not transfer to another person.
Follow these instructions:
1. Login to www.eventbrite.com
2. Go to Ticket Section
3. Transfer to next event
No fee will be assessed. Reminder that you can only transfer to your self and do a one time event transfer.
Do you have a way to help us find a roommate?

Is this an all-ages event?
All ages are welcome.
Do I need to know how to dance?
We have workshops for all levels of dance, including beginner bootcamps in Bachata, Salsa, Zouk, Kizomba and more. We also offer intermediate and advanced workshops.
Do I need a partner?
You do not need a partner. Instructors rotate the Students in all of the workshops. Most people come without a Partner :)
What does my pass include?

Where do I find the workshop schedule?
The workshop schedule will be available in Advanced on our Website. To get a sample of the type of workshops offered, see last year’s schedule here.
Can I record classes?
Most Instructors allow you to video tape at the end (review) of the class but, this is up to the individual instructor.
Tickets and Passes
Can I buy my ticket at the door?
Tickets can be bought at the door. We accept cash and credit cards. No personal checks. We highly recommend you purchase in advance for expedited service. If you are purchasing at the door cash will help expedite the process.
What do I bring to check-in the day of the event?
You will need a government issued photo ID. and a copy of your emailed receipt (We can Scan your Email on your Phone)
I bought a full pass during the early-bird sale but I am going to perform with my team. Do I have to buy a performer pass now?
Performers are allowed to perform with a performer pass, a full pass or a VIP pass so you would not need to buy anything additional. However, you must be sure to get a performer wristband at registration in order to be granted access backstage. A dancer who purchased a performer pass but is no longer able to perform for whatever reason, will be required to pay to upgrade to a full pass or a VIP pass.
If I can't make the event, can I get a refund or sell my ticket?
We will not give refunds or partial refunds. You can transfer your pass to another LABF/ LASBF event by logging into your eventbrite account, viewing your tickets, selecting LA Summer Bachata Festival and then clicking edit. For assistance directly from Eventbrite, call 877-297-6805.
Can I attend the event if I'm not staying at the hotel?
Yes, you are not required to be a hotel guest to attend the festival. However, staying at the Hotel and taking the Elevator Home is highly recommended.
Performances, Concerts & Social Dancing
I saw there are dress up theme nights. Do I have to dress up for those themes?
We highly encourage people to dress up for the themed nights, they are a lot of fun, but it is not mandatory. You may wear whatever makes you feel comfortable.
Can I record the performances?
Recording performances is allowed but we ask you to be courteous to other attendees and not block the professional camera crew. All performances will be available on our YouTube channel a few weeks after the festival.
Will there be a coat check?
There will not be any coat check available. Please leave jackets or coats in car or hotel room. Coats and bags are allowed in the ballrooms, however owners assume responsibility for their personal items.
How can I sign up to perform?
Some performance spots are still available for teams of Minimum Six (6) dancers. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for consideration.
How do I purchase a performer’s pass?
To purchase a performer’s pass you must be a member of an approved performers group. Once approved, your director will be issued a discount code to be used for the group’s performers. All passes are available for purchase here.
How do I know which day my team is performing?
Please have your director add you to the performer Facebook group so you will receive important updates about the schedule of performances.
When is tech rehearsal and is it mandatory?
All performers are required to attend tech rehearsal the day of their show. This is an opportunity for you to make sure your music is correct, get a feel for the stage and receive instructions on the flow of the show. Teams that do not attend will forfeit their slot in the line up.
Schedule Tech rehearsal 6-8pm (same times for Friday, Saturday and Sunday)
Is there food available for purchase?
Food will be available for purchase in the ballroom areas so you don't have to go to far to catch a bite in between workshops.
A taco truck will be onsite for after hours munching from 11pm - 5am.
The hotel also has restaurants .

How do I get to the hotel from LAX?
The Sheraton LAX offers a free shuttle service. For complete information including driving directions, click here.
Where do I park?
The hotel has self-parking and valet parking. If you choose to park in an area that is not managed by the hotel, you do so at your own risk. Carpooling is encouraged. If you are staying at the hotel, parking will automatically be charged to your room. Self-parking is behind the hotel and Valet parking is $29 per day.
